Have you ever wished you could wake up each and every morning to your favorite songs and not the muffled mixed bag of recycled songs on radio? Well, with iMode’s iPod Docking Station you can do just that. This alarm clock features flawless iPod playback with an easy to access docking slot that comes with custom fittings for all iPod models. Concerned that your iPod case won’t fit in the slot? The iMode iPod Dock features a large docking area, capable of accommodating an array of iPod cases. The dock also features a cool blue LCD display which adds to its already appealing circular design.

The dock has a digital AM/FM tuner for stereo playback and if you’ve ever used digital tuning before you’ll know that it is far superior to analog tuning, allowing you to easily find the station you’re looking for. But the really great feature is ability to set a wake-up playlist on your iPod and have the dock wake you up each morning to your favorite tracks. Don’t feel like listening to that song? Simply use the iMode’s wireless remote to switch between tracks. While all this is taking place you can be assured that your iPod is being recharged through the dock. Of course you can also wake to the radio or the buzzer, with the option of snoozing. The dock also sports several in/out jacks, including auxiliary in and out, as well as video out.

The only drawback for the iMode iPod Docking Station is the brightness of the display, which is most apparent at night. Fortunately, iMode built in a brightness toggle that allows you to switch between two levels of light. The dock’s circular design has a diameter of 7”, making it ideal for a desktop or dresser.

Accessorize your music players with affordable iPod Docks and your iPod will love you for it.

The iMode sounds like a really cool gadget but it seem to have a lot of kinks that needs to be ironed out.

Apple, like microshit end to put stuff out there, and let the customer sort out the bugs by doing the beta testing for them..... that's why i never by the first generation of a new gadget... let someone else do the bug fixes lol..

There are some people who must have these gadgets once they are released, I have such a co-worker, after a few weeks or months he sells it and buys something else. So there are more than enough beta testers out there. I am of the same opinion as you.

Exactly Liza, the gadget freaks (more freaky than me i meant)will buy any old tat the moment it is released, and soon find they need to upgrade to a bug free model.

All of the features on this thing seem to work find except that it won't charge the new nano. It docks fine and plays as well as could be expected but warns that "charging is not supported with this accessory". If this only applies to certain ipods, the box should note the exceptions. Is there a solution?

Does not charge the iPod Nano as advertised. Wrote the company to complainand they blamed me for buying it! Said it was Apple's fault!

I have had mine for two years now. The speakers recently started giving problems, and I have to either shake the radio or shift the iPod on the dock for it to play. Luckily I have external speakers that I plug into the AUX port at the back of the radio, which works quite fine without me having to adjust the radio or the iPod. It would be good if persons purchase external speakers with this radio, since the speakers are always proving to be problematic. Another problem that I just started having is with the controls on the radio. I am unable to use the remote because the radio and iPod are not recognizing each other. If I want to change songs or turn off the iPod, I have to use the iPod control. I have had it for two years, and it has served me quite well, until recently. However I would recommend this buy to anyone who is looking for an iPod dock. It can be used with most -if not all- home theater systems and it is lightweight and can easily be transported in a knapsack or travel bag. It is an easy to use- and for persons who may not fully understand it- it is an easy to learn equipment. It is a nice item to give as a gift to anyone who owns an iPod. Good luck to all users.
