Utilizing a patented viscoelastic polymer the Monster Pod is capable of adhering to most surfaces, including vertical positions. Using the basic tripod mounting screw you can attach your camera to this base that somewhat resembles a suction cup. Then simply press and hold firmly for a few moments to fix the base in place and viola! It can be attached to trees, poles, rocks, even walls. The Monster Pod is easy to remove, and like all great things, it leaves no residue. Measurements are just 2” x 4” and it retails for just $30. Not a bad alternative to those pesky tripods and truly a gadget for creative types.
